The usual clinically observable stages
of healing using wheatgrass liquid spray are described below, some of which can be seen in these
four comparative photographs of psoriasis. Clinical improvement in this
case where the disease has been present for more than 20 years is obvious.
His condition had been refractory to numerous topical applications and
cortisone injections. (See testimonial)
Treatment is continuing.
Common stages of clinical improvement:
1. Relief of itch (in this case, several days)
2. Thinning & flattening of plaque
& reduction of surface scale
4. Recoloration of skin. Initially pink,
but gradually fades from
the centre or periphery of lesion. Looks mildly
erythematous but
this appears to be a sign of continuing
improvement.
5. Irregular, raised edges of lesions begin to soften
and recede.
6. Lesion surface develops numerous new
skin creases compared
with original plaque. New "pseudolesions"
form during this period.
These initially spread then continue to flatten and
fade.
7. Pallor develops and new, normal skin begins to appear.
The process usually takes 6 to 12 months.
